I'm free and I believe!
Finally handed in my dissertation on Friday so I'm now freeeeeeeeeeeeee! This means that I can blog again!! Yay!!! Life's been mad since I last blogged but the most important thing is that I have now made my 'leap of faith' and I BELIEVE!!!!
I still have my questions about Catholicism but essentially I now believe all the things that most Christians agree on and in all the 'crazy things in the gospel' as a priest once put it!!
Going back off to Stronsay for a week, one of the Orkney Isles which is near to The Transalpine Redemptorists' monastery. The monastery itself is on Papa Stronsay which is about a 15 minute boat ride from Stronsay - see their website - http://www.papastronsay.com/index.htm
Looking forward to the chance to unwind and have a proper think about spiritual matters whilst I'm there. Here's a couple of photos from last time I went,

When I stop running around like a headless chicken! I only have a 2 day a week job but somehow I never have enough time for everything!!
I like your piccie by the way, what made you choose that?
Oh and by the way in my search for an appropriate image for myself I found an amazing true story about a headless chicken who survived for 18 months. Just google 'Mike the Headless Chicken' and you'll find out more. I couldn't bear to put a real photo up, thought a cartoon image was more tasteful! (no pun intended)
